Macy Nantz | Assistant Coach
Macy is in her first year as the assistance softball coach for the tigers after, graduating from Ouachita in 2017. Nantz played and started all four years for the Ouachita tiger softball team. She led the team in several batting categories while in the program. Nantz had a season ending hand injury in her freshman season and was hitting .407 when injury occurred. She finished off her career in her senior season leading the team with a .324 batting average and had the best ERA in the circle with a 2.88 she was also chosen to the All Ouachita Athletic Team plus offensive MVP.
In three complete seasons Nantz produced 19 homeruns 42 doubles and drove in 78 rbi’s and finished her career with a .314 career batting average. Macy was a four year starter for the Graham high school lady Blues softball team from Graham, Texas. She was offensive player of the year in her junior and senior seasons. She played travel ball for the Texas Glory Gold Adkins organization under Coach Clint Stricklin.
Nantz family includes Ronnie and Kristy Nantz and brother David that is currently attending Henderson State University.
